Sumo wrestling is a competitive contact sport fought professionally in Japan.

We usually think of Sumo wrestling as two big fat guys clashing with each other.

It is far from the truth of the sport. They lead regimented lives and have huge amounts of strength and it is tough to climb up the sumo ladder. It takes more than just being fat!

This is a famous Sumo wrestler. Akebono Taro who dominated the sport for 13 years and won the Emperor's cup a total of 11 times.
