In an elevator

Self-Defence 101

Now, how practical is this?

Rule No. 1 - If you enter a lift/elevator and see only one other person, just wait for the next, but that DOES NOT stop the person from ENTERING the lift at another floor stop or rushing in behind you.

Rule No. 2 - Never EVER stand IN FRONT of the person (with your back facing him) when you are alone. Stand to the side, and watch eagle eye (stare) at the other person.

Ok, if you are still accosted from behind, what should you do? Is the video practical?

Stomping on the attacker's foot and hitting him in the groins.

1. What if he was wearing doc martens? Or any other not so easily stomped footwear?

2. Knowing "instinctively" where the attacker's foot is. Most of us would have to look for it! Stomping around aimlessly seems crazy in this situation.

3. Distance between attacker and victim. In the video, the attacker was standing "conveniently" in a position to be hit in the groins.

I think this is a bad video and has no practical value.
