The popularity of aikido skyrocketed when this man showcased aikido to the world in his movies.

Most times, he is "badder" than the bad guys. They almost never (maybe never) mention the word Aikido in his movies.

Some use the word "positive" or "negative" aikido. I guess Mr. Seagal's fall under the latter.

Steven Seagal now shoots straight to DVD movies. It is sad to see such a strapping man reduced to being an old fatty displaying martial arts that borders on being hilarious.
